A cross-Europe digital theatre project that considers what 'Renaissance' means in 2021.

The objectives of this project are to highlight European contemporary playwrights and their work, create a pool of interesting contemporary texts for ETC Members, and support the international trajectory of text-based theatre plays through translation.

The ETC Coffee Breaks are a (virtual) place for you to take a short moment to reflect, discuss and exchange with your international peers from the network.

Inspired by an idea for a play from the Austrian author Magdalena Schrefel, Schauspielhaus Graz would like to invite ETC members to participate in a joint project, in which you can commission a local author to write a dramatic text dealing with the question “Which kind of drama does fossil energy provoke in your country?”

Grants available! ETC offers all technical, administrative and artistic personnel from Member Theatres the opportunity to exchange know-how and techniques at an ETC Member Theatre in another European country for a period of up to four weeks.

Since 2014, Theatre is Dialogue – Dialogue of Cultures has been supporting artists and theatres in Ukraine and other Eastern European countries in their efforts to set in motion fruitful exchanges and networking opportunities with colleagues across Europe.

NADIA was an international theatre collaboration project between five theatres from five different countries focusing on exploring the reasons of radicalisation of young people in western societies, and the attraction to join the Caliphate.
